Arakua completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts, with Distinction, in Social Anthropology at the University of Toronto in 2008, and completed her law degree at Western University in London, Ontario in 2012.
After law school, Arakua articled at Langlois & Leitch Litigators in Stratford and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013. Arakua has worked as an Associate Lawyer at Langlois & Leitch Litigators from 2013- 2014 and in 2014 she opened her own firm where she continues to practice.
Arakua enjoys living and practicing in Stratford. She is proud member of the Stratford Rotaract club (http://stratfordrotaract.com), which is committed to performing local and international service projects. Arakua is also a board member on the Choices for Change (http://www.choicesforchange.ca). Choices for Change provides counselling and recovery support to residents of Huron and Perth counties.
